Rett syndrome gathering | Semaphore, South Australia

Venue: Semaphore Carousel, 81 The Esplanade, Semaphore.
Time: 11am to 2pm.

Use of the carousel – The carousel has 4 wheelchair anchor in points, plus a ramp. It also has benches for those who don’t use a wheelchair but may be a bit wobbly to sit on a horse.

There is a lovely grassed area with picnic tables and benches as well as shade should you wish to enjoy a picnic lunch. Please BYO food and drinks.

Big Screen Charity Gala | Healesville, Victoria

Venue: Memo Hall, Healesville.

Approximately 200 people attended the screening of the acclaimed documentary “The Eagle Huntress”, an occasion organised by Shelley and Peter Morley in memory of their Rett syndrome daughter Ella and as a fundraiser for the Rett Syndrome Association of Australia. Ella, who passed away in 2008, would have been 21 in July of this year.
